Information

The family will receive visitors at First Baptist Church Callahan Thursday Evening from 6:00-8:00. Her homegoing celebration will be Friday at First Baptist Church Callahan at 11:00 a.m. If you would like to read Donna's full obituary go to http://www.oxleyheard.com/ and click on her name.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have ministered to Donna and this sweet family in their time of trial. We can not express in words how our own hearts have been touched by the ministry of others. There have been so many faithful prayer warriors and we believe it is what has gotten this family through these very difficult days. God has showed up in so many ways in the form of his sweet people.

Donna is with her Lord and she would want us to continue in the race and run it to the fullest by serving those around us. Let us claim her Joshua 1:9 and do just that.

Please continue to pray for the family. The next couple of days will be especially tough but so will the days after. Donna's suffering is over but their heartache is not. If there is a specific prayer need from the family in the next few weeks we will post it. Otherwise, this will be the last entry on the blog. Saying goodbye to Donna and all that entails is bittersweet. We will hold her friendship and what it has meant to us in our hearts forever. We look forward to the day when we once again see her sweet face and hear her angelic voice in that heavenly choir and we will be singing with her "To Him who sits on the throne, and unto the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" Amen.

Just wanted to let you know if you would like to post a note to Troy and the boys and the family, Donna's info has been posted on www.oxleyheard.com. Just click on Donna's name and you can type a note of condolence there. I will update you on the arrangements as soon as I know. Thank you.
Our sweet friend is singing "Jesus I love You" face to face with her Lord and Savior. She went peacefully today around 12:30 p.m. Please pray for the family. Hearts are broken but God is the mender of the broken hearted. Troy and the boys would appreciate some time to themselves. Thank you for honoring their request.

I will post service times as soon as I recieve them. I would like to leave you with IICor. 2:9 - "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has concieved what God has prepared for those who love Him."

Donna is experiencing this to the fullest. She is with the One who has given her strength in her faith and courage when she was afraid. She has left a legacy of one who has fought the good fight and ran the race to it's fullest. May we all be found as faithful. I want to encourage all of us to pray for one another during this time and always....

update

Donna is resting peacefully. Thank you for praying for her to have peace! Please continue to pray for the family. In times like these it's the prayers of others that get us through. Though we may not understand why God always does the things He does - this one thing I know - His ways are higher than mine and I know He has Donna and her family in His hands. What better hands could any of us ask to be in? Keep praying......

Update

Phyically, Donna is doing about the same. She is still very fearful and does not rest good because of her fears. Please continue to pray for peace and comfort for her. As you can imagine, it is stressful for the family to see her suffering physically and emotionally. Please continue to pray for their strength and God's peace.
